I hope to use this blog to share some of my handmade cards as well as some of my scrapbook pages and maybe a few pics here and there that may or may not make it to a scrapbook page.
Scrapping for me is simply a fun hobby that I don't do often enough. More often than not, I'm a collector of all things scrap... i.e. tools, paper, embellishments...
Now to become motivated... Maybe this blog is just the way to do it...

- I am such a gadget girl. I love all things electronic. That's why my NookColor is my latest & greatest gadget. Sorry Kindle, but I must bid thee farewell... (smooches)...
- I love making cards / scrapbooking, but my first scrapbooking "party" was attended under duress... My friend threatened to excommunicate me if I didn't show up. Geez... guess she really wanted that hostess gift!!!
- I have a DSLR camera that I use like a simple point and shoot. How awful is that?! On the agenda for this year is to take a photography class.
- I love to read. One of my favorite genres is romance; however, my absolute favorite love story can be found in the BIBLE. It's the best one yet and it's non-fiction!!!
- A few years ago, I completed a half-marathon and it was one of my most rewarding accomplishments. Yeaaaahhhh!!!!
- I love listening to music so my iPhone/iPod is another of my favorite things.
- I love Lay's Sour Cream Potato Chips. It's true... no one can eat just one. Well, it's true for me anyway
- When I finish a scrapbooking project, the room is an absolute mess, BUT, I can't start a new project until it's absolutely SPOTLESS again... I'm at war with myself...

- I have no siblings, but always wanted a sister.
- My mother & father always promised that Santa would bring me a sister... Bad Santa!
- I make my cousin's son call me Auntie or Tee Velma.
- When my cousin's son was about 5 years old, he introduced me to his teacher as "His cousin, Auntie Velma"... I take full responsibility for the confused look on his teacher's face. Priceless...
- I'm a major gadget girl. I love all things electronic.
- I love to read... That's why my Kindle 2 is one of my favorite gadgets.
- I watch waaaayyyy to much Reality TV (Survivor, Big Brother, ANTM, Amazing Race)... you get my point.
