Okay, I admit it… I’m having a great time participating in the challenges @ the Cricut Cardz Challenge Site. This is my 3rd challenge in three weeks. What a way to give the Cricut a workout. Anyway, this week, the challenge was to create a Thinking of You card in any color and using any Cricut Cartridge. The card had to be folded using the “S-fold” technique.
So here’s my “S-fold” card. I used the Walk-In-My garden Cricut cartridge to cut the vase.

Masculine Bday…. Cricut Cardz #8
The timing of this challenge over @ the Cricut Cardz Challenge site could not have been more perfect. I needed to get a masculine card done ASAP. I usually procrastinate on the masculine cards because they are truly a challenge. For this card I used the Cricut Easter Seasonal Cartridge for the scallop circle base. I used “From My Kitchen” for the cake and cake plate. Of course, I couldn’t resist the urge to add ribbon, but at least no big bows and bling!

Versatility…
I made these cards a while ago and never got around to posting them. As you can see, I used one of my go to “stamps”. In this day where digital stamps are so popular, I’ve made a few of my own. And I use this one a LOT. It’s so versatile. I was also able to use some of those HUGE brads that I’ve had in my stash forever. Simple, quick and serves the purpose.

SCENT-sational Invites and Gift Certificates…
I made 30 of these invitations per request. I also made 4 of the little gift certificates. This set is for a fragrance party and the hostess wanted to send invitations in the shape of a perfume bottle. Ummm, sure I can do that. Anyway, I found some clipart for the basic shape of the bottle and used my Pazzles to make it a cutting file. Since the bottle looked a little plain, I created the bottom scallop to dress it up a bit. I like the way it turned out. For the gift certificates, I used the clipart form of the bottle as the background image; typed the pertinent info and I was done.

THANKS... You're a doll...
I discovered the Cricut Cardz Challenge Blog at the end of last year and made a mental note to particpate in some of the challenges. This card is based on Challenge 7 which is simply to make a thank you card using any colors and any Cricut cartridge. I decided to use the doll cut from the Cricut Paisley cartridge.
